Tata has announced launch of its new small car, Tata Megapixel. Tata
claims that it gives 100 kmpl mileage! It would have hybrid engine. Its
still a concept car, Ratan tata unveiled it in Geneva motorshow. It is
capable of transporting four people in it.
Tata Megapixel in India
It would come with 305 cc petrol engine, operating in collaboration
with the power of 13 kWh electric motor, and capable of producing ~30
Bhp of power. Tata Megapixel would come with 2 airbags. Price of Tata Megapixel is expected to be 4 lakh, which is not official.
Ratan Tata said it would take 3 years for them to implement this kind
of engine. [Official launch date is not out yet.] The car’s turning
radius is only 2.8 meters! It is also low on CO2 emission, it reduces
emission to 22 grams/km. We would love to heartily welcome this kind of
cars for daily use.
