Maruti Suzuki has launch new updated version of Swift Dzire. New
Swift Dzire is shorter in length but it has got enough room inside. It
will be available in both petrol and diesel versions but you have to
wait around 8 months for diesel engine. For petrol variant, new K-12
engine comes loaded with the impressive Variable Valve Timing (VVT)
technology. For diesel variant, DDiS, D13A common rail injection system
and an inter-cooled turbo charge engine is fitted for better
performance.
Petrol engine produces Maximum power of 87@6000 and maximum torque of
114@4000, while diesel engine makes 190 ps of power @2000 rpm and
Maximum torque of 75@4000.

For the first time, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire comes with automatic
transmission. It employs front (MacPherson strut with coil spring) and
the rear (Torsion-beam with coil spring) suspensions. It has front disc
and rear drum brakes, along with the Brake Assist System (BAS). Turn
indicators are now imbedded on outside rear view mirrors. The rear view
of Swift Dzire is all changed. Aerodynamically designed pinch spoiler
placed onto boot helps car to maintain stability and style as well.
Price of New 2012 Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire starts with 4.79 lakh and high end diesel version costs 7.09 lakh ex-showroom.
